Where to Visit When Travelling in South America

South America holds a very special place in my heart. As a 17 year old, after completing my high school education, I headed off to South America to live in Bolivia for 12 months as an exchange student.

Interacting with the people of South America was a great experience. They are such warm, friendly people and truly love life. The South American way of life is filled with fun. The singing and dancing and the games they play are nothing short of fascinating.

We have travelled throughout South America as a family, and loved every moment of it. Our goal for 2017 is to get back to South America and spend as much time there as possible.

Visiting ancient ruins in Peru in 2014

Locals just love kids, and our kids loved them. South America has an easy, homely feel, and is a continent well worth discovering with kids.

Among the countries that we managed to visit during our journey to South America include Chile, Argentina, Peru and Bolivia. The beautiful cities of the continent and the unique natural features were food for our eyes and for a moment, we thought of moving to this region.

Please note: In line with our site relaunch of Jan 2017, we are frantically writing content to upload. If we don’t have info on your chosen country at this time, please come back soon. We aim to have everything uploaded by mid to late Jan.
